Lora Dimitrova - Accompaniment

When Lora first moved to the UK, she worked as an accompanist at Guildhall School of Music. It was as an accompanist for a singer's audition that she first came to the attention of Sir Georg Solti.

Lora has accompanied many singers and all kinds of instrumentalists in concerts, auditions, competitions, exams and lessons.

Lora is currently working in partnership with the tenor singer Nicholas Martin on recital programmes full of Argentinian songs with many of the accompaniments written specifically for Lora.

Lora's first employment in the UK while she was studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London was as an accompanist for students in classes, auditions and concerts. She accompanied singers and violinists for the aclaimed vocal teacher, Laura Sati and violin teacher, Faith Whitely.

Lora created the Performance and Interpretation course at Canterbury Christ Church University for BMus and MMus students and during her 10 years teaching the course, accompanied many of the students as they performed on all kinds of instruments.
